Part 4 - Bonnie Hunter's Celtic Solstice Mystery Quilt 2013
This is my first Mystery Quilt and I'm really excited about how its turning out.
I'm a bit late to the game of posting progress reports, so this is Part 1 - 3. Part 4 will have to wait till we get back from vacation as Santa hasn't realized I want a featherweight yet ... LOL
I've learned so much, from the tri-rec's to the chevrons and Inklingo's way for the HST's! I am having to hand piece the final seam on the pinwheels, but with the other hand piecing I've been doing, I'm much more sure of myself.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Great New Year!!
Such a gorgeous combination of fabrics!
ReplyDeleteMysteries are fun, aren't they? I'm really looking forward to seeing how Bonnie puts all these bits together.
ReplyDeleteMy first mystery quilt and first online quilt. I got a late start, didn't know about it until 2nd week in Dec and was away from home. Stopped on way home to pickup some fabric, then upon arrival home decorate the tree and bake for Christmas. So I am still on part 1.
ReplyDeleteLove your choice of fabrics. This is my first mystery quilt too. I did not venture away from Bonnie's colors, maybe next year.
